Christmas Miracle as Horse Survives Winds

Wednesday, 14 December 2011 12:23

In amazing news a horse managed to survive blustering winds that tore apart that stable where he was sheltered, leaving his owners certain that he had been lost.

Last Thursday, 85mph winds dragged the wooden stables that had been reinforced with concrete blocks into another field, dragging Buddy the horse along with it. His owner, Jane Paige, reported her horror when the winds picked up and she heard the stable being ripped from the ground. Her horror turned to panic when she realised Buddy was still inside, and she rushed outside to help.

Fortunately, Buddy managed to flee the wreckage and was left with only minor wounds on his legs. He was given extra coats to sleep with as there was nowhere he could be placed overnight before he was taken to temporary stables the next day. Although she will have to rebuild the stables and replace a lot of the equipment that has been lost, Jane is just happy that Buddy has survived the ordeal.

Animal Friends is glad that Buddy has turned out alright, and we hope Jane and Buddy all the best in the future.
