Headless horseman to raise cash for charity

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham looks set to benefit this Halloween from a teenager's plan to dress up as a headless horseman and trot around the streets of West Bromwich during the witching hour.
Hopefully Mark Evans, 17, will have updated his horse insurance policy before he and his mount, Toby, make their way from All Saints Church to the local country park - a total of 14 miles, the Express & Star reports.
He chose the health centre as the beneficiary because it is where his uncle receives dialysis treatment.
"I wanted to do something a bit different and have been riding all my life, which is how I came up with the idea," Mr Evans remarked, adding that he has thus far raised £120 in sponsorship.
Another equine enthusiast making the most of the upcoming holiday is The Donkey Sanctuary, which is to be holding a Halloween party, complete with a pumpkin hunt for young visitors to the centre.
