Royal Windsor Horse Show

horse-jumping.jpgLocated at Windsor Castle, the Royal Windsor Horse Show has much to offer to its guests. With a wide variety of competitions, everybody that attended this show during 2010 had something to entertain them.

Driving, showing and show jumping were amongst the categories for performance which left the audience enthralled. With some stunning weather during the five day show, spirits were high as onlookers were kept on the edge of their seats with each event which contributed to the enthusiastic cheering that could be heard from the grandstand. Outside of the competitions, there were other amazing things to witness, including The Musical Drive of The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery which showcased horses being driven to music.

The beautiful grounds of the royal castle are also something to behold when attending this show, and gave something else for guests to marvel over. Not only this, but the huge variety of shop stalls selling things related to equestrianism were very interesting to many of the guests. With over two hundred of these to choose from, there was something for everybody to take home with them from the show. Things on sale also included jewellery and clothing, crafts and fine foods meaning that the Royal Windsor Horse Show was also a superb place to purchase gifts for those who couldn't make it. Food courts, restaurants and bars were available for those that needed refreshments, although many people opted for having relaxed picnics on the stunning grounds.

With so much to offer, this years' Royal Windsor Horse Show was a huge hit, and both participants and spectators alike had a wonderful time being a part of such a prestigious and famous show. With so much to offer, the 2011 show is expected to provide an amazing time, and will draw many equestrian fanatics who will be sure to enjoy the shows as well as feeling like royalty themselves in such a splendid setting.
